We're Heading Back To The Ontario Finals!

The Oakville Rock defeated the Owen Sound North Stars 16-12 in Game 3 of their best-of-5 series on Friday night at the TRAC in Oakville.  The win clinched a 3-0 series sweep of the North Stars and sends the Rock back to the OSL final for the second consecutive season.

The Rock built an 8-2 lead through one period and cruised to victory from there.  Jason Knox (3.3), Ryan Lanchbury (3,3), and Marley Angus (2,4) all recorded six-point games to lead Rock scorers.  Josh Dawick had 5 assists.

The Rock now await the winner of the semi-final series between Brooklin and Six Nations.  The Merchants currently lead the series 2 games to 1.

The OSL finals will be a best-of-3 series and begin next weekend.  With Oakville advancing to the OSL finals and already owning a berth in the Presidents Cup as hosts, both OSL finalists will advance to the Presidents Cup.
